Legacy MMA Curriculum

Grappling - Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is the center of our training. We cover takedowns, positional control, and submissions with special attention paid to proper technique and strategy.

Boxing - With American boxing as the basis for our striking program we concentrate on proper technique for both the hands and feet. We focus on reactive power, power endurance, muscular endurance, anaerobic endurance, aerobic endurance, foot & hand speed, and hand-eye coordination. During our boxing class you will learn to work the focus mitts, speed bags, double ended bags and the heavy bags.

MMA Striking - Our MMA striking program will enhance your overall striking for the MMA game. We use Muay Thai in combination with boxing, strikes to takedown and striking on the ground.

Sparring - For the MMA competitor we offer full contact sparring. Our sparring sessions will be full contact in boxing, kickboxing, and the MMA competitive depending on what areas the MMA competitor needs focus. This program will require prior approval for the Legacy MMA staff.

Conditioning - We also include conditioning that is organized to give muscles the needed endurance to keep our athletes fresh while other fighters survive on their last ounce of energy. It is based on the ideas from Cross Fit and Combat Conditioning. Our conditioning classes are not just for fighters but also for every person looking for something different from their usual cardio workout.
